Kenexa's web-based training solutions include courses for the financial, insurance, healthcare, HR, and pharmaceutical industries. All of Kenexa's titles are built using industry standard web development tools including HTML, Dreamweaver, Coursebuilder, and Flash. To improve their ability to deploy courses to their customers through the internet, Kenexa selected WBT Manager. As the first step to implementation, Kenexa purchased a WBT Manager Starter Edition in September, 2001. The success of the Starter Edition resulted in Kenexa increasing the number of users to 350 in November, 2001 and an additional increase to 750 users in January, 2002.

Kenexa evaluated a number of different learning management systems before choosing WBT Manager. The decision to implement WBT Manager was based on a number of reasons including: compliance with industry standards, ease of implementation, and the ability to quickly customize the user interface and reporting features for different clients.
