"Reset Stats" and
"Recalc Status" buttons cause menu style to change.
"Recalc Status" button
causes lesson to launch in tiny
window.
Date: November 5, 2002
Version affected: v1.60
Symptoms:
"Reset Stats" and "Recalc Status" buttons
cause menu style to change.
Affects courses set to use a menu
style other than the default ("Std Menu - 1 column, text links") and that allow
the students to reset statistics or recalculate course status (controlled on
"Flags" tab in course properties). If the student selects either of the
specified buttons, when they return to the lesson menu from the selected
function the lesson menu is displayed using the default menu style. Exiting the
lesson menu and re-selecting the course from the student menu will cause the
correct menu style to display.
"Recalc Status" button causes lesson to launch in tiny
window.
Affects that allow the students to recalculate course
status (controlled on "Flags" tab in course properties). If the student selects
the "Recalc Status" button, after returning to the lesson menu any attempt to
launch a lesson will result in a very small lesson window. The actual size of
the lesson window will depend on where the mouse cursor was in the "recalc
status" button when it was clicked.
Cause:
The "Reset Stats" and "Recalc
Status" forms were not sending sufficient data to their target pages to return
to the lesson menu properly.
Correction:
New
versions of the course menu, reset stats, and recalc status xsl files have
been provided to correct the problem.
